Co+in Collaborative Lab is a boutique-sized Interior Architecture Design practice started in 2019, based in Jakarta, Indonesia, one that helps to create an experience that goes beyond form and material within the field of residential and commercial design.
Co+in Collaborative Lab is Jakarta-based Interior Architecture Design practice, providing innovative work for clients seeking thoughtful design within the field of residential and commercial design.
Our practice roots in curiosity, exploration, and research, to develop custom-tailored solution concepts for each narrative.
Our aim is to evoke the senses of every spatial-related form by expanding the possibilities and imagination of space.
Our work in compact spaces is designed to maximize the quality of life and usefulness through transformation and motion.
Project 01
The design of the space is rooted in maximizing the space without making it feel packed. Floating furniture details on the bar island and tatami platform are added to the space to ensure there is enough walking room within the space. The calm tone of the wood is used throughout the furniture and flooring to create the illusion of a bigger room.
The design focuses on the unity of space through customized furniture that is connected between the bar island, platform tatami, the study area, and the loft bed. Through unity, the shape of the element is carefully considered and tailored according to the client’s ergonomics. The study table also doubles as the stair step that leads to the loft. To create a sense of separation between the bedroom and others, wood studs are implemented to hide away the bed space for extra privacy, which is detachable for maintenance purposes.
